Hugh Moss Chinese Snuff Bottles

Hugh Moss, in the Water, Pine, and Stone Retreat.

The Chinese Snuff Bottle Society of America, Inc. was formed in 1968 as the first society to honor snuff bottle collectors and to publish scholarly articles about snuff bottles.

Devoted to the Study and Appreciation of Netsuke.

Robert Hall's interest in Chinese Snuff Bottles started over thirty five years ago.

We are devoted to literati Chinese arts - painting, calligraphy and objects in "the scholar's taste" - and to the Japanese art forms most beloved of serious collectors; painting and calligraphy, netsuke, lacquer, inrō and other sagemono, tea ceremony utensils and sword furniture.
